Background and Effects of KANNA Implementation
課題
Traditionally, we have used many software programs to manage tasks. From the above method, what is found is Using multiple programs causes data to become fragmented. Difficulty collecting and locating information Because each person stores information in a different way. It takes a lot of time to search for documents. This can cause problems in managing work and tracking project progress.
導入の決め手
We are looking for software that focuses on separate cloud storage and has storage for various data, as well as an overview of the entire project.
効果・改善
We use the cloud exclusively for storage. The information is shared through folders. Makes it convenient to search for information and save time storing and searching for files or documents or even photos.

Tell us about your business
Thai Solar Energy is a leader in developing renewable energy plants in various forms, including solar farms, rooftops, solar floating farms, and biomass power plants. We have projects both in Thailand and Japan.
For 2023, we will expand our B2B business, focusing on roof solar installations for business customers and selling electricity back to the customer. This is a change from investments concentrating on working with the government (B2G) in the past.
How did you manage your business before KANNA?
Traditionally, we have used several software programs to manage tasks, such as Microsoft Project to plan project tasks and Excel to update the percentage of work completed to create an S-Curve by linking data from Gantt Chart and S-Curve in Dashboard format to show an overview of operations. And we are storing documents separately on other platforms.
Such a method The use of multiple programs causes data to fragment. Difficulties in collecting and searching for information Because each person stores data differently. It takes a lot of time to search for documents. This results in problems in task management and project progress tracking.
What made you decide to use KANNA?
A tool that is easy to use and can respond to our future needs. Even now, that tool may only support some of our needs. And we have further considered how KANNA can be used in the future.
As of now, we have implemented the tool in 4-5 projects, and we plan to do so by the end of the year. We will start using it in other long-term projects. More like a drain
How do you use KANNA?
Currently, we are only collecting information to share with all project team members. But we hope that in the future there will be further development. We can use more tools such as Gantt Chart, Progress updates, comparing changes between plans and actual results, And tracking progress with S-Curve. We can do it all on the same platform.
What were key buying factor or concerns when choosing tools?
We looked for software that focused on cloud storage separately. And expect to store those data. It will be able to display an overview of all projects. It can also be expressed in terms of the percentage of the plan versus the rate of actual progress in one platform. We expected the software to integrate the Gantt Chart and S-Curve instead of running multiple cumbersome and time-consuming programs.
We chose KANNA because we see the value of providing one-stop service on one platform, including a secure database, ease of use, and a reasonable price for use. Moreover, there is No need to download additional programs. It can be used anywhere via mobile phone to support On-Site work without having to carry documents to be complicated anymore. It makes all our operations look more systematic and efficient.
Did you have any difficulties while implementing KANNA and if so, how did you overcome them?
I have yet to encounter any problems using this platform. The software is easy and comfortable to use. But I use it on a PC rather than a mobile phone. Most of them will use their mobile phones in case they want to view drawings or data while going out to the job site.
What kind of changes have you seen since using KANNA?
Use on the cloud as a dedicated to data storage. The information is shared through folders. What impressed me was the ease of searching for information. All collected in one place. This makes it possible to save a lot of time when storing and searching for desired files or documents or even photos.
Are there any other areas where you utilize KANNA?
We have used it to support the implementation of TSE's renewable energy projects in the future, with ideas to be applied to various projects. If KANNA can improve and add new features, it will allow us to use it more efficiently.
What do you expect from KANNA in the future?
We need a feature for backing up data that can be easily operated with a single button. If this function can be added, It will increase the efficiency of our storage even more, allowing the team and administrators to back up and store data in a repository separate from the central system (Server) to prevent the risk of data loss on the main system.
However, I understand that KANNA will be releasing this function for use. I believe it will make data backup more convenient for users in the future.
