How accurate is Kanna's AI OCR?
The AI is trained to read both handwritten and printed forms, but you are never handing over control. Every value it reads is shown for review before the report is saved, so your team can confirm or correct any figure in a couple of taps. AI OCR is currently in beta as we validate its accuracy in real site conditions.
What types of forms can AI OCR read?
It is built to read completed paper forms such as daily site reports, inspection sheets, defect reports and quality control forms, then transcribe the values into your matching digital template in Kanna.
Does AI OCR work without a signal?
No. Because the feature relies on cloud-based AI to read your form, it needs an internet connection to work. This differs from other parts of Kanna Report, which can be used offline.
